Skyler, the pro-active, pro-everything adventurer, finds her travels across the U.S. ending on the couch of the ultra-conservative and incredibly fearful John Layman. So what keeps this conflict-ridden mismatch rolling? For Skyler, it’s another chance to take on the world, one reckless plan at a time. For John, it’s the ridiculously rich family background Skyler is doing everything she can to escape.
Skyler’s efforts have John’s apartment transformed into a rainforest, his office made into a homeless shelter and his life into total chaos. All this is only complicated with help from Danny, John’s long-time friend and oft-victimized sidekick. Danny’s only goal in life is to accomplish his dream; he just doesn’t know what it is yet. Unfortunately for him, Danny’s the perfect target in the battle between a free-spirited activist with no boundaries and a fearful cynic with not nearly enough insurance.
